I feel a little foolish for not taking picture of this earlier, but when I was having my issues with my other video card, I checked out the Reliability and Performance monitor just to get an idea of how those crashes were affecting the system stability rating.  The chart was nosediving like the stock market after a heavy selloff.

Now, after switching back to the ATI card and a stable driver, here's what it looks like:

I had a hard time not feeling smug.

Serdar, a quick question. How did you get it back up to a full 10? Since installing Vista on 1/30, I have had exactly one incident -- a power failure followed by a forced shutdown. This one incident dropped me from 10.0 to 9.17. It is now back up to 9.55 about 9 days later. How did you get it back all the way to 10?

Thanks
Ken

[I did a clean install with the new drivers and have had no forced shutdowns or crashes since, so the system's "uncontaminated" right now. I suspect if there IS a crash, I wouldn't be able to get back up to a perfect 10 score, but so far I haven't had one. Knock wood. --ed.]
